Within the framework of developing the faculty’s research capabilities, the Scientific Research Unit continued its achievements, by activating the faculty’s scientific seminar, after the faculty members, teaching assistants, and lecturers at the faculty registered their desires to present their ideas and scientific production in a unified seminar of the faculty, to transfer inter-experiences between educational disciplines.
The scientific seminar for this chapter, entitled "The Psychological Effects of Electronic Learning Management Systems", was launched on Thursday 9/7/1443 AH corresponding to 2/10/2022 AD at exactly eleven o'clock in the morning remotely through the Blackboard platform.
The meeting began with a speech by Dr. Yasser bin Mubarak Al-Dosari, Dean of the College, in which he urged the colleagues to transfer their scientific experiences and expertise to others to advance the College in the field of scientific research and extend a helping hand to new researchers, from teaching assistants and lecturers.
The seminar was attended by the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, department heads and supervisors, and faculty members in all departments and specializations in the college.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Yousra Mohamed Sayed Abdel Fattah, Assistant Professor of Curricula and Teaching Methods, Department of Educational Sciences. The seminar dealt with discussion on some modern educational and psychological variables, the most important of which are mental wandering, academic procrastination, electronic integration, and academic credibility.
All attendees thanked the college administration for its efforts in meeting their needs and developing their research capabilities for the benefit of students and learning outcomes, and in implementing the objectives of the college and university's strategic plan.
