The Dean of the Applied College at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Dr. Lafay bin Lafi Al-Salami, visited the College of Arts and Sciences in Wadi Al-Dawasir on Wednesday 15/7/1443 AH.
It was hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences at the College Theater in the presence of the College’s Dean, Dr. Sultan bin Misfer Al-Dosari, the College’s Vice-Deans, Heads of Departments, and a number of faculty members and students. The hosting included a project to transfer to applied colleges at the university.
Al-Salami stated that the transformation into applied colleges comes within the framework of working to contribute to the realization of the Kingdom’s vision 2030 and in response to the Ministry of Education’s endeavor to raise the level of the education and training system in a way that achieves the goals and contributes to the university achieving its goals.
Al-Salami explained that one of the objectives of the applied colleges is to provide various applied programs that keep pace with the needs of the labor market, to enhance the basic values and skills that guarantee success in working life, to establish sustainable training and employment partnerships with various business sectors, and that from the vision of the applied college is to provide various programs that keep pace with the aspirations of the market. Changing work, and its mission is to provide the labor market with professionally qualified cadres that contribute to the prosperity of the economy.
